Bridal Champagne Showers

Oh weddings. They allow for so many excuses to throw fabulous celebrations, including bridal showers. I was lucky enough to be spoiled with this gorgeous shower, courtesy of my lovely bridesmaids.

This chalkboard was at the entrance of the party to welcome guests & assure them they had arrived at the right place! I am with my gorgeous bridesmaids & bridal shower hosts in the photo above.

We gathered inspiration for the shower from English tea parties and luckily my Maid of Honour had a beautiful collection of vintage tea cups, saucers, and fine china she was generous enough to allow us to use for the shower.

There was an abundance of fresh ivory peonies (my wedding flower) around the room, filling it with the smell of summer.  These gorgeous flowers were from the flower shop at Anthology.

What's a party without champagne? There was a delicious champagne bar with fresh fruit and juices, so guests could create their own unique concoctions.

The food was absolutely mouthwatering. There were all my favourite things; french macrons, a rosette coconut cake, cupcakes, lemon bars, trifle, and the list goes on.

My bridesmaids surprised me with this pretty balloon from Balloonatic in Saskatoon.  It was the perfect addition to the party and definitely a conversation piece.

It was a little windy this afternoon, but we had to have an impromptu photoshoot with this bouncy balloon!

As a thank you to all my friends and family for attending my bridal shower, I planted succulents in mini clay pots for everyone to take home.

It was a truly beautiful and special day that I will never forget.
